Baptism and the Radical Reformation, Then and Now

Reverend Craig Donofrio

Rev. Craig Donofrio grew up in Southern California Non-Denominational Evangelicalism. In the 1980s, he played Christian Rock, was a recording artist signed to Exile Records and worked at Maranatha Music as a New Artist Reviewer in the A&R department.

At the tender age of 24, he had enough and stopped going to church because he couldn’t live the “Victorious Christian Life.” A couple of years later, he discovered these Lutherans who liked to argue with him. After 2 years of attempting to refute the Book of Concord and J.T. Mueller’s Dogmatics, he finally caved and was a joyous, yet reluctant convert. The Gospel took root and Pr. Donofrio quit his job as a political consultant and went to Seminary at Concordia Seminary St. Louis.

While in Seminary, he was employed at KFUO AM, working a weekend shift as an on air personality. Since that time, Pr. Donofrio has been on air more often than not. Recently, he has been a regular guest on Issues Etc. and is co-host of the God Whisperers (www.godwhisperers.com) and his sermons can be heard on Pirate Christian Radio.

Pastor Donofrio has served churches in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Missouri and most recently has served Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Pasadena, CA. since 2004.
